Showing off now arn't we dear Catharsis? I enjoy the Sitar as well dear, the music derived from it's lulling strings has a rich soothing affect upon my entire being. You should try listening to the Ravi Shankar's works, he is quite the skilled individual.

Yes indeed, Sugar the Visual Kei band with Loki on vocals, Sizna on guitar, Atsuto on drums, and Shingo on bass. They will be performing at Oni-con Dec 19-21st as their U.S Debut with DIO.

I know! I never meet Yousei Teikoku fans. It's really sad because they're just so wonderful... I've gotten one of my friends into them, but no one I know is actually a really big fan of theirs.

I know! I never meet Yousei Teikoku fans. It's really sad because they're just so wonderful... I've gotten one of my friends into them, but no one I know is actually a really big fan of theirs.

Ah, I forgot to mention Yousei as well. And I have never had the chance in my life to meet another Art Marju Duchain fan. I always listened to my CD's alone not knowing there were any fans. There are not many people I have met that like older bands. I recall once I tried to mention "Laputa, Aliene Ma'riage, Baiser" and the response I had received was a quirked eyebrow.

I would be bored if I only listened to one band, althoguh I can listen to one particular song for hours on end.

Anyways, the other artists/bands I like are Miyavi, Gackt, X Japan, Luna Sea, Nightmare, Sendai Kamotsu, The GazettE, Alice Nine and as for non J Rock, well em Queen, Santana, Lifehouse, Within Temptation, Evanescence, and tons more, since I grew up listening to 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s music.

I listen to a lot of old, unheard-of bands, so I know what you mean! I'm always amazed when I find fans of the same old indies bands as me. I love Art Marju Duchain and a lot of my friends who are even into older bands as well often haven't heard them.

Also, speaking of Laputa, you know Tomoi is in a band right now, right? He's in C4, who are sadly not receiving a lot of love or recognition outside of Japan... but their lineup is quite impressive!

Wow... I totally had written a whole reply to this and apparently it didn't show up. I didn't notice until just now... sorry... anywho.

Most of the bands I listen to are older and really difficult to find any information on. It's basicly a miracle if I find other fans of certain bands XD

Speaking of Laputa, you know Tomoi is in a band now, right? Because C4 isn't really getting a whole lot of recognition over here, I'm not sure who has heard of them or not... but they're very good and have a hell of a lineup.
