Genetic World

Okay, so Genetic World is going to be released in March February (cuz I'm stupid and mixed it up with the dvd >>; ). We can all talk about it here!

HOWEVER.

Although I don't permit it, I'm sure the talk of religion will come up here, since Asagi has been using things that portray towards a certain religion. So, I don't mind if it is being talked about IN THIS THREAD. But the four of us mods/admins will be watching this topic very carefully. Also, I will not allow any PREACHING of religion.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But if there are any fights, I will not be happy.

Yes, I for one will be watching you all for the religious aspect of this album and if I feel anything is offensive, I will kindly warn you. One is allowed their freedom of speech, but when I feel the fine line between freedom of speech and personal offense have been reached, then we will have serious issues. Thank you.

How about clarification of misconceptions, if done rationally?

And I thought the album was going to be released on the 25th of February?

Also, I don't particularly like the covers. I had a much more futuristic vision of the album concept (and cover) in mind, but that was pretty much shot when I saw Brand-X's update.

Anyway, Synthie made a good point. Apple = forbidden fruit? With the Garden of Eden playing a major role in the story?

I'm excited for their new album but when I saw the covers, I was a bit disappointed! I thought it would be more...darker cover. Mm...forbidden fruit? Hmm...D; I'm going to be poundering about this for a while.

There are so many reasons to why I am deathly excited for this cd but mainly because I love to see Asagi's views and knowledge of religion and different cultures portrayed in his music and I believe it is the next step from Neo Culture (which was an amazing CD imho), I am curious what animal they will be using as a sort of 'theme' for this, I believe bird was mentioned but I hope there are more since it always makes it more interesting. Also I love every song Ruiza has written and there is a track that he composed so kudos for this CD, I can hardly wait.

I'm very excited about this album! All I'll say is that... I CAN'T WAIT!
It seems like forever since they've last released a full-length album. I know it hasn't been that long, but...

D sure took quite a turn in their look. Ruiza seems to be more of the girl now than Tsunehito, and I am trying to figure out what is going on with Asagi's hair...and why they put that...thing in it..and why they cut his bangs... I laugh at the fact that the side view of Hiroki reminds me a bit of Gackt. (perhaps its the pose or that might just be my perception) I believe they lost a lot of funding due to most of the money goes to merchandise and cd's so they had to make outfits with a combination of vinyl and velvet which is a bad mix of fabrics... All in all reminds me of their indies way back when and a bit of some other various artists clothing. If I were not a D fan and viewed this picture amongst all their other costume designs I would've guessed this would be their indies era XD

As I have said...interesting turn, looking forward to the album even more now.

Haha, I am an odd boy and studied fashion and enjoyed making clothes and accessories so it is a bit second nature to spot it out. It's just basically velvet lined with vinyl. XDDD

I would want it as well. It's such a lovely collar with sharp edges trailing down the chest and I think he has a bit of a neck corset on as well. Or something rather close.

Wtf is with Asagi's hair? It's like they glued braids on this head like:"Okay, just wear this, I don't care if people are reminded of your Dearest you outfit. Whatever"

I'm wondering also too why Ruiza is taking on the girlier look than Tsunehito.

Anyway, overall all of them look fucking awesome
