I just got a message from CD Japan telling me of D's upcoming release. -

So, remember back in the middle of October when we talked about D’s new single, tentatively titled 「Snow White」?

Then, a few weeks later rumours of grassthread said the single was cancelled.

However, now, according to Jishuban Club it’s coming out, just in the new year instead of December.

The release date is January 21st and the details are pretty much the same as announced originally, but the tracklists have been released.

The first press edition type A is 1890 yen containing a DVD with the PV for 「Snow White」 the single includes the following tracklist:
Snow　White (Tentative Title)
Snow　White～Another　gift～ (Tentative Title)
Night-ship　D (From their performance on August 2nd at Shinkiba Studio Coast)
Snow　White （Instrumental）

Type B, also a first press edition is 1680 yen and also comes with a DVD. This tme the DVD contains original “making of” footage. The tracklist for the single is:
Snow　White (Tentative Title)
Snow　White～Another　gift～ (Tentative Title)
Yami yori Kurai Doukoku no A capella to Bara yori Akai Jounetsu no Aria (From their performance on August 2nd at Shinkiba Studio Coast)

The regular press comes with all the 「Snow White」 versions, plus a not yet titled new song for 1050 yen.

Pretty cool, huh? I'm still tossing up which one to buy, they all sound so very tempting...
The site also says that one could buy a collection of ten episodes of their TV show for 1500 yen at their concert at Saitama HEAVEN'S ROCK.

Looks like CDJapan's got a lot of interesting first press bonuses.

I'm not getting my hopes up! Last time I did and then they said it was canceled. Now it's not! What happens if it's canceled again? I'm going to wait until they announce its release on their official website, then I know it'll be safe to celebrate.

I wonder why they're including live versions of Night Ship D and Yami Yori Kurai... I mean, I don't mind, but they've never done that before. And I was hoping if they did include live versions of their songs it'd be an entire album of lives. It just seems like a strange combo to me.

Still, I hope it comes. It'll be great!

I don't think it will be. CD Japan is usually quite reliable. But I wonder why they aren't sending you anything Synthelement >_<.
Maybe its because you signed up for the other category. A weird thing I noticed about that website is that they have two categories for D- one with all the old albums in it, and one with all the new stuff in it. That was last time I checked anyway. I think I've put both on my watchlist.

I think its really cool that they're bringing back some old singles. I can understand Yami Yori and Night Ship D as they are totally legendary songs, but Signal? Well that is a pretty good song, I must say, but I would have thought they would have included another one of their classics.
I really want the poster as well! Which is making it so much harder to decide what single type I want - I'm tempted to get all of them, but I'm just poor, and my friends will tell me I just took it a leeetle bit to far.

I do not receive updates as well for some unknown reason which leaves me bewildered. I for one love Signal, and loved to watch it live on their last DV, so I am looking forward to this single. But I was discussing this with Malice_Rose, do you think that D's management is going to mess with our sanity and make each poster different for the different cd types? I know those who enjoy/stress over the trading cards find it hectic to buy cd's until we receive the card we want, it would be sad if it came to the posters as well. Nice way to make money by all means.

Quite honestly I think they'll stick with just one poster design. ^^ I reaaaaaally hope they do, anyway.

As for the trading cards, I'll just cross my fingers and hope I finally get one of Asagi, Tsunehito, or the group, since I have a combination of the other members' cards from the Birth and Yami no Kuni no Alice releases. (What's up with the other two of the seven possibilities? They *are* group shots, right?) And it's weird that you guys aren't getting updates... try removing D from your list and re-subscribing? And I also noticed that they've split all their releases up into separate indie and major groups. It wouldn't hurt to re-subscribe to both. Well, I think the major/new release group should technically be the only one to worry about now, but again, it wouldn't hurt to be on both feeds just in case.

Also, I'm keeping an eye on Jishuban club and Zeal Link to see what bonuses they'll offer (Jishuban has the single up but nothing besides what we already know). I don't think either will have anything up until December at the very least, but I know what they're gonna do... aside from an extra postcard or whatever they're going to offer a comment DVD if you purchase all three versions of the single. I think it's warranted if you don't have to pay all those extra shipping costs, but geez! *flails and prays for a good job over winter break*

They just updated the site with the track listing. Basically, everything listed on the first post plus the new song on the regular edition which is "what is Going On with The Human" which will be in GOTH. DVD with type A is the Snow White PV and the DVD with type B is the off shoot for the PV with member commentary and a "digest reflection" of Bara no Yakata. <3

Thanks for the update! I typed "What is Going On with The Human" into the google searchbar just for kicks (it's a... unique title) and the first thing that popped up was "What is the going price of a human soul these days?" XD okay, never mind...

Well anyway, so far I've avoided getting the A type, but if the PV turns out to be exceptionally amazing I might end up picking that one up, too. Also, I'm hoping Snow White ends up being a solid stand-alone track not tied to anything promotional like Hamon and Yami no Kuni no Alice were. I want D to keep experimenting. I mean I still really love their music but it doesn't feel like D today is the same D that existed a few years ago, music-wise.

I know what you mean. There's just something kind of missing. The new stuff is good but needs moar...screaming and face melting or something. *nod* (Which I don't think will happen with this single since "ballad single" is in the headline of the update.. :/)

Oh, another ballad. Kaya's single is a ballad as well. A part of me hopes Snow White ~Another Gift~ is going to be D's way of saying "well screw that" and proceed to surprise us with a totally unique track very much like their old stuff but with an obvious "Snow White" undercurrent threaded through it at the same time. In other words, it'll be a harder, much more familiar D-like version of Snow White. well that's how it is in my mind lol that's probably not the case but anyway

It's true, D's sound has change but I really don't mind. They've seemed to have many different sounds over the years and this is just a new sound to add to the list! I love each song as much as the next! They never let me down!!

I can't wait to hear what's next! what is Going On with The Human sounds great so far, so I know the other songs will sound great as well! I still can't help but feel that Snow White isn't about the princess, but there's only one way to find out, right?

D HAS changed quite a lot - at first the change was just too much .
But I still love their stuff. D is D.
I really do hope they scream up Snow White. Who says you can't have heavy music in a ballad? :p.
I wish I could send ASAGI telepathic signals telling him my idea of making Snow White a vampire. Even though the idea is kinda lame. But who wants utesy cute fairy tales? Its so much more fun when they are twisted.

btw, I went into Heroes yesterday and saw the novel of GOTH. And I bought it! So if anyone wants previews or anything...

,,, in other news, I don't really think the band was changed sooo much. A little less screaming I guess. And I don't know how to put this but the sound of their new songs are 'clearer'. I'ts not like they sound like Alice nine like other bands tend to do when they go major, and they haven't become all manly cowboy-men like Dir en grey.
But no, I'm not that anxious for a ballad...

If they were disbanding I would be bawling right now. xD;
