How did you get into D?

How did YOU get into D?!

For me, I was shopping at Hot Topic, around the time they were selling CURE magazines. And who happens to be on the cover!? D. I bought it because it was CURE, and I loved CURE. Took it home, flipped through it. Fell in love with D, so I looked them up! And then it started...haha.

I kept hearing them being mentioned around so I finally decided to try them out.
I watched some videos on youtube first and then immediately got my hands on everything I could after that.

It was the Yami Yori pv that my friend showed me that got me interested. Tee hee~~

I believe Last FM. or a website similar to such, was displaying a select handful of the few songs that had been released by D at the time, I believe there were only two on the internet that were available at that time..never-the-less, once I began to listen to the musical construction of the songs and the vocal perfection of ASAGI's voice coordinated with that enchanting arrangement(I had been an admirer of his vocal talents from his previous projects), my adoration for them blossomed and has not stopped and I do not think it ever will.

Earlier this year, somebody on another forum mentioned how Kamijo (of Versailles - another band I'm a huge fan of ^^) must've taken vocal lessons from Asagi because he drastically changed his style of singing (Kamijo, that is). I got really curious and looked up this Asagi person and found Corvinus, and the rest is history.

For me, I was just getting into visual kei at the time and downloaded some random songs... didn't listen to all of them right away.

oddly enough, I remember perfectly that I had my ipod on shuffle and I was cleaning the bathroom and Night-Ship "D" came on and I thought "what? what is this!? O: " and ended up listening to it on repeat while cleaning.

At the time, a friend of mine was into D and showed me the Yami Yuri Kurai etc PV (I'm pretty sure it was the only video they had out at the time) and put on one of their CDs (I forget which... I didn't know songs at that time) and I was like "I need more D!!"

Saw the "Mayutusuki no Hitsugi" pv in a gaia profile, but I couldn't figure out the name of the band for the longest time (it didn't occur to me that a band could be named just "D" xD). Then, maybe half a year later, I saw a D thread in a jrock guild I was in, and, voila, the pv was there again. So, now that I finally had a name, I looked more into them and fell utterly in love. =))

My friend forced me to listen their song.
About next week I wanted to know more about them and I found Ouka Saki Some ni Keri PV. And soon I caught myself in youtube listing their songs.

I got into D from seeing a picture of ASAGI on someone's xanga or something and at first, I didn't know who he was at first, all I know is that he looked like my best friend! 8D
I thiiiink, i don't remember, but I downloaded Gareki no hana from a friend and I got hooked :3333 and my best friend sent me Yami yori and Sleeper as wellllll

I was on youtube looking for more jrock bands to listen to. And decided to give D a chance since I'd seen their name around but didn't really know what their music was like. But I did have to give them another chance later before I got into them. -__-‘ That’s how it usually goes with bands that become the most important to me, though, somehow I never seem to like them at first listen. ;__;
Then I heard/saw Kuon and that song was (and is) so utterly beautiful...I was hooked.

It was actually by pure chance I started to listen to their songs. It was around Christmas time and my friends and I were out shopping at the mall. Went into Hot Topic, saw a Cure magazine, and had to buy it. Got intrigued by the band known as D at the time. That next weekend when i was over at a friend's how she showed me the PV Yami Yori. Fell in love right then and there once I put two and two together. Now it's just bliss. ^^

I randomly came across "Asagi: Corvinus" on jrock blogspot or something like that, and looked it up out of curiosity and boredom. I loved it. For some strange reason I can't quite remember the first song I listened to :s
But after Yami Yori, I was like HOLY POPCORN and got hooked.

My friend once mentioned them, and then I heard another friend, but I was like "Eh..." so I didn't go search for some songs. After a while, I finally did it, and I got impressed by the mature and complex compositions. Slowly I became awfully hooked with them XD

I saw them on the cover of a cure advertised in a newtype. I looked up the cure magazine, and the rest was history ^^

Well for me I first saw a clip of Yami yori...Aria on a video of the Jrockers Get Tipsy series I believe it was the third one put to the Diva Dance from the Fifth element. I got curious about it at first but then it slipped my mind to search for the video. So sometime later I remembered it an decided to watch it from that moment on I became a fan
