Tafel Anatomie/Last Indies live tour DVDs!
Hey all! Has anybody gotten a chance to purchase and watch either of these amazing concerts? Do you have any reviews you'd like to post? I'm curious to hear your opinions on them. ^^ I bought D's Follow Me DVD on a complete whim alongside Kaya's Chocolat and as much of a fan of Kaya that I am, I had to say that D completely blew me away with their amazing performance. They're close to flawless live!
Does anyone have any favorite moments or songs from either DVD? I have to say I love Asagi's singing and his behavior in Tsukiyo no Renka. Ruiza's fingers just fly during the solo of Yami Yori and of course there's the Tsunehito cannonball during one of the songs of Tafel Anatomie. XD I have a few screencaps I'd like to post but I gotta figure out how to make thumbnails first...

I have both of these. I bought Tafel Anatomie at the D concert, and The Last Indies Live I bought at Like an Edison, and it came with a poster. <3
I took quite a lot of caps of the backstage of the last Indies Live, so I'm probably going to put those up. Both DVD's are fabulous, and I love the backstages/Making ofs. They're a lot of fun. I'll definitely post summaries later, but yeah.

I have the Follow Me DVD. Tsukiyo no Koiuta (I don't know if it's Koiuta or Renka..the dictionary I use said it could be either way. @_@) was pretty amazing. Fan service, ahoy! And Night-ship "D" is always a favorite for me. Wish I could get a hold of a pair of those flags.
Re: Tafel Anatomie/Last Indies live tour DVDs!
hm..I have Follow me. and that poster which came with it ^^
I dont know if I have some favorite parts in it.. but I do love the beginning, Vampire Missa, Hanamadoi (Asagi licking that whip~), Tsukiyo no Koi Uta (roses~), Night-ship "D" and EDEN and.. well, almost all. *smile*
Even though.. as song I really like, actually love, Yami yori ect. but somehow it doesn't sound as good on live for me. I think that's sad.
Anyway. I don't understand what they're saying on it but I like those speaking parts too. And I'd really like to know what Asagi and Hide-zou talked about. 'cause my friend knows japanese a little and she was laughing her ass off but couldn't clearly translate it to me. ._.
It's funny but I have got my big sister like it (at least in some level) even I didn't even try to do that. She's always like "heey.. show me that dvd where's that funny guy~~ :3 (talks about Hiroki or Tsunehito) I want to see it again~"

I enjoy watching both DVD's. As usual D never ceases to amaze me with their flawless lives and their pin point accuracy in both vocals and instrumental/sound quality.
On the Tafel Anatomie, I love listening to Leukocyte on that DVD. As for the last indies "Follow Me" DVD, I like the introduction to the band as they all enter the stage, as well as the timeline clip before the preformed "Birth". It brought a smile to my face to see that timeline and how much D has progressed throughout the years. To have the fans glance at the past before they take that next step along with D into a new Birth was a sight to see.
Sorry I did not thumbnail this. But here is a link of a picture I seem to find positively sweet,(I think I am the only male who giggles over it) One cannot forget the smiles of the members once they moved onward to their major debut. Please ignore the bad quality.

It is alright you did not thumbnail, a link is just fine! Thank you for considering the rules.
Re: Tafel Anatomie/Last Indies live tour DVDs!
I was unable to purchase the first DVD, but I do own the Follow Me tour and I must say, it must be so very enchanting to captivate an audience with music so very mesmerizing.. I viewed the Follow Me DVD on my birthday with my closest friends, the experience I shared that evening of the sheer perfection in D's music and the joyous company of my comrades, combined to make a heavenly mix.
Byakuya no renka was my absolute favorite performance for the sheer emotional aspect of it, Asagi's very aura seems to change as he sings out with his haunting melody, ah~ marriage...with the crushed roses, every ounce of his lonely despair withering away, almost as if to cast himself off..not as the perfect rose, but as the falling petals of a sorrowful bloom..just, beautiful.

For Tafel Anatomie, my favourite performance was Glow in the Sun. It is an amazingly beautiful song, and they way the stage lights up and glitters behind them is just mesmerising. The translation for that song is also very very beautiful.
Other good songs were Leukoycte and Humanoid.
For Follow Me ~ Last Indies Live, I had quite a few favourite performances/ moments.
It started with the member's entrance - that was awesome!
Vampire Missa for that heart-stopping moment with the Asagi/Ruiza vampiric fanservice, Tsukiyo no Renka/Kuita for that sensual singing and performance (who can beat tearing up roses on stage?), Dangan for that awesome revolver, Ultimate Lover for just being such a great song, and Dearest You for ASAGI's wicked wiggly moves. But my absolute favourite song on that DVD was Guardian. It is the heaviest song I've heard D do, and the combination of the strong screaming, the special effects (especially the shooting up smoke at the start), and his rounds around every single member doing their own shout was just ownage. Its addictive - I could listen to it over and over again.
At the end of the concert, its so cute how ASAGI goes up to all of the band members and gives them a big hug.
I was also very impressed with how they included the timeline before they presented Birth. I didn't know that it was going to be in there, so it was very exciting for me. To show D's progression through their indies era was so nostalgic, and a really good way to kick off a new stage in their musical careers.
I also love the performance of Eden on both of the DVDs.
[btw Malice Rose, you have such a great way with words!]

Ah, you have stated what Catharsis had said about the time line as well. My words are my literary companion..

My goodness. ASAGI's smile is the most beautiful smile I've ever seen. I love smiles in general, but his gives me a major case of the fuzzies!!
D's amazing. Their lives are flawless! One day I hope to see them live.

Here you guys go... sorry for so much posting >_<.
I've had some good screencaps of the Live DVDs sitting on my computer for quite a while, and I thought I'd share them.
You can use them however you like, and you can credit if you want to. Sorry there isn't too much of a variety in there- lots of ASAGI. Enjoy!

^ Those are amazing! :O
@synth: Doesn't Asagi actually say the name before starting on the song? So during the concert I distinctly remember him saying... "*japanesejapanesejapanaese... Tsukiyo no... Renka" (well it sounded more like "lenka" to me but yes. XD). Otherwise that song is all over the place translation-wise. I've seen it written in lots of different ways.
